When the fields near my home are cut for hay, they sit on the rows in the fields in such beautiful geometry of lines and circles. My favorite time to see the bales laying in wait is in late summer when the dusk sky becomes a dusty lavender and the fields are a warm ochre with long shades and shadows creating deep blues. Lovely.
I saw a photograph in a magazine at the doctor’s office yesterday that had me thinking of apples as the bales in a field. A field of Apples makes me dream of spring.
Until tomorrow.

I love your description of how the bales look near your home in late summer. It’s such a beautiful time of day when everything looks mellow.
