I need to find more time in life to just dress up and be goofy and silly.
I have never been to New Orleans – when I do go, it will be for Mardi Gras. It’s my kind of fun. All out – over the top!
I spend a lot of time being too serious, too focused, and too – well, boring. Forget that – I’m joining my friend Jeannette for TuTu Tuesdays (not sure what they are but – I am definitely willing to find out)!
Madri Gras falls on my 45th birthday in 2014. Umm – who’s coming?
Until tomorrow.
Jenna
Day 159 was created in ink and watercolor.
You should totally go for your birthday in 2014!! Fate is telling you to go, have a hurricane (drink), watch parades and get some beads!
Mardi Gras, why not? If YOU feel like it, and it’s not hurting anyone. 😉
Laughter and fun. I’m for it! I need some beads. Love the apple – masque, feathers and glitz.
Count me in, I’ll even pop for the airline tickets. You go girl!
Careful what you wish for – remember how some of the “ladies” in Mardi Gras “earn” their beads!
Careful what you wish for… on my 45th Birthday – and wearing a mask – hummm. I have a few years to consider or worry about what I will or won’t do on my first trip to New Orleans for Mardri Gras!
BTW – you did see that my Dad is looking at this 🙂
That’s my point.
Hi Jenna!!
Very colorful, good representation of Mardi Gras.
I went to Galveston last weekend, I went to my husband to distract us and celebrate my birthday; in the streets of Galveston had a celebration of Mardi Gras, was my first time that I can saw the celebration and was fun. I think that in New Orleans the celebration be too much better that in Galveston and I hope you can go to New Orleans to celebrate.
