I’m ready.
This time of the year is wonderful for so many reasons but, I’m just so ready for the motions of business as usual. I like the pace of life with the hustle and bustle of projects and work and accomplishment; not that this ends during the holidays but it sure gets funky. Funny how there is so much going on but everything slows down a bit too. Let’s get back at it already! I have 272 more apples to go and my resolution is to stretch myself as a writer, as an artist, as well as in my career (who knows where that’s going but I’m going to stretch.) Robert Browning said “A man’s reach should exceed his grasp, or what’s heaven for?”
This apple – the first of this new year – is a stretch, the color palette is very different for me and collage is not something I’ve done much of. I’ve trusted in my standby techniques and this year I’m going to see what I can push myself to create. I’m going to keep stretching – I’m with Robert Browning, I’m going for it because with enough stretching who knows what can be reached tomorrow!
Until tomorrow 🙂

Day 93 was created with pieces of images collected, a crumpled piece of bronze tissue paper, acrylic fluid paints, ink, and graphite!
Gorgeous! If I could look like that, I’d like to be an apple. I really like the small, pinkish flower. XOXOXO
What a wonderful idea – an apple a day! I really like this one – the colors are so warm and lovely. nancy
Hi Nancy,
Thank you so much for the lovely comments. I will need to do some more warm palettes 🙂
Thank you for coming by my site.
Best, Jenna
The crinkled bronze paper gives such texture…makes my fingers tingle!
Great apple, today:)
Thank you! I look forward to creating more collage images…. I’m finding that they are a lot of fun 🙂
