Day 294 – Paint Softly

Art Apple - Day Two Hundred Ninety FourIf you can learn from hard knocks, you can also learn from soft touches. – Carolyn Kenmore

I love painting with over the top color – except of course, for those times I crave painting softly.

When painting softly remember – carry a BIG paintbrush – just in case.

Until tomorrow.

Day 294 was created in ink and watercolor.

  1. So beautiful. I’ve always had a thing for sand dollars since collecting them off an island of Florida at the age of nine. The dove shaped internal pieces fascinate me….

    1. I love to collect sand dollars too – all shells really. I’m not sure if it is the love of them or the love of finding them. We have some really cool almost icicle like shells that we collected on the beaches of Costa Rica that Doug patiently drilled little holes in for me to make them into Christmas ornaments. They hang on our tree each year and remind us of that lovely time.
