It was a simple Sunday.
Doug, Ella, and I drove downtown for the Arthritis Walk – photos will be on my Facebook wall tomorrow. Ella was treated like a queen with a pretty blue bandanna to show that dogs get arthritis too as well as treats and love. We managed to do the two mile walk around Washington Park but I have to admit that my joints were not too happy towards the end and I did decide not to go for the extra lap to make it the three miles. Oh well – there is always next year.

You hit on two things that I love about the Arthritis Walks – they incorporate a love for dogs and raise awareness that dogs also get arthritis AND there are 1 mile options for those who have difficulty walking far. I’m sorry you were sore afterward, but so glad you joined in the fun!

We had so much fun! Ella did great and I was only sore for a few days. It was worth it and it touched me so much to see all the friends and family supporting their arthritis hero!
